Training Classes for You and Your Dog
Happy Hounds Dog Day Care is pleased to introduce our relationship with Trust & Obey Training. We offer evening obedience and good manners classes for puppies 4 mos & older and adult dogs.
You'll like our classes because they are small and homey, accepting only 4-6 enrollments per class so our instructor is able to provide one-on-one time as needed during the class sessions. In our various classes, workshops and seminars you'll learn about the pack mentality and how dogs think and learn.
Basic Dog Obedience - 5 sessions Dogs 4 months & Older
- 1st session - No dogs - Owners only! Discuss pack theories, leadership, and conditioning.
- 2nd through 5th sessions - Working with you and your dog to teach obedience, proper treat feeding, wait, heel come & sit, sit-stay, return to heel, down, down-stay. Discuss behaviors-housebreaking, destructive chewing & excessive barking, separation anxiety, aggression and proper tone & timing, leash control, and consistency. Find what you've learned as a way of life for both you and your dog...and then Graduation Night!!!
